Dicyclopentadiene Resin (DCPD Resin)

DCPD resins are hydrocarbon tackifiers polymerized mainly from dicyclopentadiene. They sit between aliphatic and aromatic resins in polarity, with good heat resistance, water resistance, and compatibility with a wide range of elastomers and adhesives.

Industry Applications

Rubber compounding, hot-melt adhesives, coatings, inks, and polymer modification. Hydrogenated DCPD resin is listed separately when water-white color and UV stability are required.
