Hydrogenated C5 Hydrocarbon Resin
Hydrogenated C5 hydrocarbon resin is an aliphatic petroleum resin that is catalytically hydrogenated after polymerization. Hydrogenation saturates residual unsaturation, giving a water-white, low-odor tackifier with better color retention, heat stability, and oxidative stability than unhydrogenated C5 resin. It stays compatible with SIS, SBS, EVA, and amorphous polyalphaolefins.
Industry Applications
Hot-melt and pressure-sensitive adhesives, hygiene and packaging adhesives, and other light-colored formulations where low odor and color stability matter. Softening point is selected at inquiry.
