Polyoxymethylene / Acetal (POM)

POM (acetal) is a highly crystalline engineering plastic with high stiffness, low friction, excellent fatigue and creep resistance, and good dimensional stability in precision parts. Homopolymer and copolymer types are both used; copolymer grades typically offer better chemical and thermal stability.

Gears, bearings, fasteners, conveyor parts, automotive clips and fuel-system components, appliance mechanisms, and other low-wear precision moldings.
