Antioxidant TMQ (RD)
TMQ (RD) is polymerized 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline, a staining-to-slightly-staining amine antioxidant used for long-term heat aging protection in NR and synthetic rubbers. It is especially useful in NBR and in compounds that see continuous heat.
Industry Applications
Tires, industrial rubber goods, NBR hoses and seals, and other compounds that need thermal-oxidative aging resistance. 6PPD remains the usual choice when ozone and flex cracking dominate.
