C9 Hydrocarbon Resin

C9 hydrocarbon resins are aromatic tackifiers from thermal or catalytic polymerization of cracked C9 fractions. They have higher aromaticity and heat stability than C5 resins, with stronger cohesion and broader compatibility with polar and aromatic polymers.

Industry Applications

Hot-melt adhesives, rubber compounding, coatings, printing inks, paints, and asphalt modification. Thermal C9 grades are typical where color is less critical and heat stability matters.
