Hydrogenated Dicyclopentadiene Resin

Hydrogenated DCPD resin is a water-white tackifier made by polymerizing dicyclopentadiene and then hydrogenating the product. Hydrogenation removes residual unsaturation, giving excellent color, heat stability, and UV/oxidation resistance compared with unhydrogenated hydrocarbon resins.

Industry Applications

Hot-melt and PSA adhesives that must stay light-colored, hygiene and packaging adhesives, TPE compounding, and other uses where low color and outdoor or thermal stability matter.
