Hydrogenated Dicyclopentadiene Resin (Hydrogenated DCPD Resin)
Hydrogenated DCPD resin is a water-white tackifier made by polymerizing dicyclopentadiene and then hydrogenating the product. Hydrogenation removes residual unsaturation, giving excellent color, heat stability, and UV and oxidation resistance compared with unhydrogenated DCPD resin.
Industry Applications
Hot-melt and pressure-sensitive adhesives that must stay light-colored, hygiene and packaging adhesives, TPE compounding, and other uses where low color and outdoor or thermal stability matter.
